    Gifting FAQ

    How does gifting Sharp Pro work?
    Fill in your recipient's name and email along with your own, choose a duration, and complete payment. Your recipient gets an email right away with a claim link and a backup gift code.
    When will they receive their gift?
    Immediately. We'll send them an email right after you confirm your purchase. It usually arrives within a few minutes.
    Does the subscription clock start when I pay, or when they claim it?
    When they claim it. Buying ahead of time doesn't use up any of the gift's duration, so it's fine to send it early. Gift codes stay valid for a year, giving them plenty of time to activate it.
    Do they need to download anything?
    No, they don't need to download anything. They can use our iOS app if they like, but they can also use Sharp from any web browser.
    What if they already have a Sharp account?
    They can redeem the gift right into their existing account. If they already have an active Pro subscription, they'll be able to claim it once that expires. Gift codes stay valid for a year from purchase.
    Will I be charged for an ongoing subscription?
    No. You're charged once, at checkout. The gift won't renew or charge again after it ends.
    What if they lose the email or gift code?
    The gift code is also shown on the confirmation page after checkout. If it's ever lost, reach out to team@getsharp.app and we'll help track it down.
