    What's included in the free plan?
    A full-length SAT practice test, Sharp score reports for Bluebook practice tests, daily practice questions with step-by-step explanations, performance insights by skill, a predicted score, and access on the mobile app and the web.
    What does Sharp Pro add?
    A personalized study plan built around the student's test date and target score, targeted practice on their weakest skills, unlimited questions, unlimited AI tutor chats, a mistake log, Desmos walkthroughs, and three full-length practice tests. Pro is $18 a month with a one-week free trial, and 3-month and 6-month plans cost less per month. No contracts, and you can cancel anytime.
    What's the difference between Sharp Pro and Sharp Coaching?

    Sharp Pro is the app on its own. Sharp Coaching ($89 a month) adds a tutor: an Ivy League graduate who scored 1500+ on the SAT runs a 45-minute diagnostic call, plans each week's assignments, checks in monthly, and answers messages in between. Parents get progress reports. Book a free consultation to see if it's a fit.

    Can I buy Sharp Pro for my student?

    Yes. On the gift page, enter your student's name and email along with your own, choose a duration, and pay. Your student gets an email right away with a link to claim it.

    Do tutors and counselors pay to use Sharp?

    No. The tutor and counselor dashboards are free, and so are student accounts. Tutors can upgrade individual students to Pro at 10% off, or choose Sharp Business ($89 a month, 30-day free trial) to give 10 students Pro plus group assignments and branded score reports. See Sharp for tutors.

    Can I pay for Sharp with 529 plan funds?
    Yes. As of July 2025, families can use 529 savings plan funds tax-free for tutoring, test prep, and standardized test fees.
    Can my student keep working with their own tutor?
    Yes. Students own their Sharp data and can share it with any tutor they choose. Tutors use the Sharp dashboard for free to see Bluebook results, mistake patterns, and progress between sessions. Students who don't have a tutor can get one through Sharp Coaching.
